First, head to the main entrance

At the main entrance of the airport terminal building, there is a bronze statue of Awa Odori, the №１popular photo spot at the airport.

The open-air lobby with a stairwell

Tokushima Airport is a three-story building. The arrival lobby on the first floor has an open-air structure that extends all the way to the top floor. In addition, the entire building is made of glass, giving it a very open feel.
In this space, there is a parking area on the runway side at the front of the building, and when you turn around, a large display measuring approximately 4.6m x 2.6m catches your eye.
As the airport's name suggests, you'll be greeted with a dynamic Awa Odori dance on a large screen, so impressive that you can't help but be captivated.

The departure lobby is decorated with a stained-glass piece called "ZOMEKI - Eternal Two Beats", created and supervised by Keiko Takemiya, a manga artist from Tokushima Prefecture.
From their lively expressions, you can almost hear the double beat of Awa Odori dance, and they must be feeling nostalgic and wanting to come back to Tokushima again.
